ABOUT DARREN
I have worked now as a professional chef for over 20 years, gaining experience in a variety of restaurants for around ten years, followed by a further twelve years working privately for the rich, the royal and the famous in their homes, villas, motor yachts and exclusive high end chalets.

Having initially gained my culinary education in the UK before working and gaining valuable experience in some of the UK and Australia's most exclusive restaurants. I then moved into the private sector and have travelled and worked around the world gaining incredible life experiences, and a love for and knowledge of many of the worlds different, diverse and ultimately incredible cuisines.

Travel and cooking have been two huge parts of my life and even after all these years I know that the journey is far from over.

I take this opportunity now to share some of my experience with you and bring together a collection of my favourite recipes and techniques that I have picked up and developed along the way.

I hope you enjoy what you find here and that it brings you as much happiness as it has to me.

Sincerely

ABOUT THE WEBSITE
My main goal here is to bring to you some of the knowledge of international cuisines and cooking skills I have learnt, in a way that anyone and everyone can understand. Everything I have learnt to cook has been approached with the mindset of a professionally trained chef, each recipe and technique is looked at to improve the method and ultimately the overall flavour of the finished product.

I aim to bring this to you in an aesthetically pleasing and easy to follow platform. The techniques section and short videos show you both basic and more complex techniques needed to follow all of the recipes and cook them to a high and satisfying standard.

For example the video tutorial on basic bread dough shows you the methods of kneading and proving dough in a simple way that allows you to then follow all of the various bread recipes, hopefully, without keep referring to the method. The methods in the recipes should be easier to follow after learning the basic techniques from the tutorials.

Follow the 'Explore' pages to navigate through the different cuisines and find the recipe for you. Follow the 'Techniques' pages to learn through tutorial videos and text about the cooking techniques that will help you produce better food for your family and friends. And if you are already confident with your skills and know what you want to cook then head to the 'All Recipes' page and jump straight in.

Sincerely
